Nearby Camden Hills State Park offers unlimited hiking opportunities with incredible views of Penobscot Bay and Megunticook Lake atop Mt. Battie and Mt. Megunticook. Not into hiking, then consider their auto road to the top of Mt. Battie where you can drive to the top for a small fee and take in the views.

Camden Snow Bowl

The Camden Snow Bowl is a community owned ski and recreation area. From the summit of 1300′ Ragged Mountain, skiers and riders have an incredible view of the Atlantic Ocean. In addition to alpine skiing and snowboarding, there are many other winter activities available at the Snow Bowl. A snow tubing slope provides fun for all family members, ice skating on Hosmer Pond and a thrilling 400′ toboggan chute. The National Toboggan Championships are held here the first weekend of February. There is also a cross country ski and snowshoeing trail available.
